About This clinical research study
MAC Clinical Research is currently conducting a trial to test a potential new treatment for diabetic neuropathic pain (DNP). Neuropathic pain is present in 7-10% of the general population and symptoms of DNP often include a burning, stabbing, prickling, or aching sensation in the legs or feet, which is chronic and difficult to manage. The condition carries a substantial physical, social, and economic burden.
The trial medication aims to assess the safety and first signs of pain relief experienced in patients with diabetic neuropathic pain. The medication is believed to have the potential to reduce the inflammation that triggers diabetic neuropathic pain and improve quality of life for patients.
Reimbursement: Receive reimbursement for your time and commitment to the study plus travel expenses or transport will be provided.

ABOUT CLINICAL RESEARCH STUDIES
Clinical research studies are performed as a way of bringing about progress in medicine and research. Clinical research studies make it possible to scientifically assess the properties of a drug, to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment or a medical device, or to learn more about a disease and methods to diagnose and monitor it.
If the study is successful, it may be an important step towards developing a promising new treatment.
