About This clinical research study

Clinical trials are research projects, performed as a way of bringing about progress in medicine and research. Clinical research projects make it possible to scientifically assess the properties of a study medication, to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment or a medical device, or to learn more about a disease and methods to diagnose and monitor it.

Here at MAC, we are looking for people who would like to take part in clinical trials researching potential new treatments for Major Depression Disorder (MDD) using psychedelic compounds.

MDD is a mental health issue that causes a low mood and lack of interest and is one of the most common mental health complaints worldwide. Psychedelic compounds (also known as hallucinogens) have been found to temporarily change perceptions, sensations, and emotions. Research into psychedelic-assisted therapy to treat depression in a controlled, clinical environment may go on to provide treatment options for people with depression. You will be supported throughout the trial by therapists trained in psychedelic therapy.

Reimbursement: £1500
Plus, reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed, or transport provided.
