About This clinical research study

Clinical trials are research projects, performed as a way of bringing about progress in medicine and research. Clinical research projects make it possible to scientifically assess the properties of a study medication, to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment or a medical device, or to learn more about a disease and methods to diagnose and monitor it.

Here at MAC, we are looking for people who would like to take part in clinical trials researching potential new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive brain disorder and the most commonly diagnosed form of dementia. Common symptoms include forgetting recent events and names, trouble getting the right words and losing things. This can progress onto having difficulty recognising people, confusion, and issues with multi-step processes such as preparing meals and getting dressed.

If you or a loved one has Alzheimer’s, you may be eligible to participate in one of our upcoming clinical trials.

Reimbursement: Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed or transport provided.
