About The Research...

MAC Clinical Research is currently running a trial to study a potential new treatment for osteoarthritis of the knee.

Previous research shows that the trial drug is designed to block the activity of a protein molecule by attaching to it. The protein molecule has been shown to cause inflammation and joint pain and it is hoped that by blocking it, the trial drug may reduce inflammation and improve symptoms in people with OA.

The main objective for this trial is to assess the safety and effectiveness of the trial drug in participants with osteoarthritis of the knee.

The trial will involve 11 visits and one overnight stay visit to our clinic in Manchester over the 24-week trial period.

Reimbursement: £2425
