What personal information does MAC collect using the Website?

Collection Purposes, Use of Data
MAC collects actively submitted data for the purpose of ascertaining whether you may be a suitable candidate to participate in a clinical trial in respect of which you have expressed an interest. MAC may also use the actively submitted data to make you aware of an alternative upcoming trial that you may be eligible for. It shall not use the data for any other purposes.
MAC collects passively tracked data, like cookies, for purposes of administering, protecting and improving the Website and MAC’s systems, to identify server problems, to compile aggregated statistics about Website usage and to help personalise your experience of the Website.
Legal Basis for Processing
MAC will process the data that you actively submit through the Website on the basis of your consent which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention
MAC retains the personal information provided by you for only as long as needed to fulfil the purposes set out above, unless MAC is required by law or regulation or for litigation and regulatory investigations to keep it for longer periods of time. In the case of actively submitted data through the Website, this is likely to be deleted by MAC once a decision has been made about your eligibility to potentially participate in a clinical trial, irrespective of the outcome of that decision.
