About This clinical research study

Clinical research projects make it possible to scientifically assess the properties of a study medication, to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment or a medical device, or to learn more about a disease and methods to diagnose and monitor it.

COPD is a disease frequently caused by tobacco use, which causes swelling and destruction of the lungs and results in symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, and sputum production. COPD is generally a progressive disease that gets worse over time and is associated with flare-ups also called exacerbations.

Here at MAC we are looking for people who would like to take part in clinical trials researching potential new treatments for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

If you contact us, it does not mean you have to decide at that point whether to participate. If you do decide to participate you are free to withdraw at any time.
